Introduction to Fire Prevention

 

DATE: April 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 2010

TIME: 0800 - 1700 hours

PREREQUISITES: None

COST: $175. (Includes the CFSTES certification fee) Enrollment must be paid by check or money order made out to the Riverside County Fire Training Officer’s Association.

TEXT: Students must a copy of the 2007 California Fire Code for use during the entire class.

The IFSTA Text Fire Inspection and Code Enforcement, 6th Ed. is required. The text is NOT available to purchase at CTC. You must bring your own copy of this text on the first day of class. Suggested sources for this text:

REGISTRATION: Registration will be accepted beginning on February 5, 2010

In order to reserve your place in this class, an RCC online application must be completed.  A confirmation page, payment, and a RCTOA registration form must be submitted to the RCC Fire Technology office at CTC. Mail to: 19510 Van Buren Blvd #238, Riverside, CA  92508.

Please visit the California Community College online application center to complete your online application.

Registration is confirmed when payment is received. Call 951 571-6311 for more information regarding registration. Maximum class registration: 40 students.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: On the first day of class, if students have not checked in 10:30 AM, and have not made prior arrangements, they can and will be dropped from the class without a refund.
